GENERAL.

welcome! this is an independent, private, & highly selective writing blog for the last of the famous international art thieves AKA " 𝒑𝒊𝒆𝒓𝒓𝒆 𝒅𝒆𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒖𝒙 ", from the usa network series and movie franchise, 𝐩𝐬𝐲𝐜𝐡.

much of this blog will be 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 and based primarily on my own interpretation of the character. i've been writing pierre on and off since 2019 and have developed my own canon and lore.

INTERACTIONS.

for my own comfort, this blog is mutually exclusive. meaning i will only write with and interact with those i follow who follow me back. since tumblr is pretty low on my priority list, this blog will be extremely low activity & slow reply.

i like to make my blogs aesthetically pleasing, so this blog is going to feature icons and small, colored text. if you ever have issues with being able to read my replies, let me know and i’ll happily change my formatting for you.

i will not follow blogs who write or promote: incest, rape, pedophilia, “genderbent” muses / transphobia, homophobia, racism, etc. i will not follow or interact with blogs who interact with these blogs either. just be a decent fucking human being.

SHIPPING.

this blog is multiship & multiverse, meaning that relationships will never overlap with one another unless specifically plotted that way. romantic ships are based purely on chemistry, however, i don’t mind having pre established dynamics. sometimes it's easier to just jump right in and figure it out as we go!

this blog is mostly for fun and shouldn’t be taken too seriously, but on rare occasions it may contain mature and potentially triggering content. triggers will always be tagged with a trigger / warning. if there is something in particular that triggers you that i’m not tagging, let me know and i will tag accordingly.

my name is becker ( 25, she / her pronouns, MST ). i have a full time job and a dumb puppy that requires a lot of attention so i'm not often on the dash. if you ever want to reach me quick, i have a discord available to mutuals.

GENERAL.

full name: royston cornwallis staley ( presumably ).
known alias: pierre despereaux. when working a heist, he tends to use aliases of famous artists from history ( such as edgar degas, jack pollack, etc. )
age: written as approx. 47 ( as of s4 ) - 52 ( as of s8 ). will generally be early 50s in most post series interactions.
nationality: french-british. pierre was originally born in london, though as the son of the british ambassador to france, he was raised in paris for the majority of his young life.
gender: cis male ( he / him ).
orientation: chaotic bisexual.
residence: he typically lives hotel to hotel when working a heist, however, he does have permanent apartments in vancouver, london and paris.
occupation: international art and jewel thief. insurance fraudster. interpol agent impersonator.
finances: wealthy. pierre has acquired a rather wealthy financial backing thanks to his insurance fraud cons. he had at least 1.6 million in his bank account prior to it being frozen by the government awaiting his trial.
status: legally presumed dead after he faked his death in the united states to avoid prison time.
criminal record: linked to multiple art thefts around the world but never left enough evidence to be accused ( responsible for thefts in london, belgium, switzerland, south africa, canada, and the united states ). finally arrested for insurance fraud thanks to shawn spencer, served a few months jail time in a minimum security prison in canada before being extradited to the us. was released on bail awaiting trial when he faked his own death.

weight: fluctuates between 160 - 170 lbs.
hair: light blonde. short. typically either styled back or swept to the side, out of his eyes.
eyes: bright blue. expressive. inquisitive. judgmental.
build: tall and square. broad shoulders. strong ( able to dangle a full grown man from a balcony with mild effort ). generally disinclined towards violence but is quite a skilled hand to hand fighter, if needed.
scars: gunshot wound scar on his right thigh.
distinguishing features: designer wardrobe, elegant and gentlemanly demeanor, poised stature, soft spoken and refined.

positive traits: intelligent. confident. skilled. charming. elegant. gentlemanly. charismatic. polite.
negtive traits: narcissistic. cocky. manipulative. sneaky. smug. mysterious. condescending. untrustworthy. vain.
disorders: lack of impulse control, manifesting primarily as kleptomania, and is not a result ( nor a condition of ) his occupation as an art thief.
vices: smoker. after he commits a heist, his " calling card " / signature is to leave a burning merchanteuse blonde cigarette at the scene.
alignment: neutral evil / chaotic neutral.

RELATIONSHIPS.

parents: currently estranged.

pierre was born into a wealthy family in central london. his father was the british ambassador to france at the time and had moved the family to paris by the time pierre turned five. he had a fantastic early education and a depressingly easy childhood, much to the point where it was incredibly dull. his mother and father were madly in love but they were often caught up in their own projects and interests. pierre always believed they never wanted a child, but rather had one because it was expected of a young couple of their status.

he lost contact with them prior to his start as an art thief, though their estrangement began long before that. they were never unkind, per se, and certainly loved him in their own way - but they were always rather emotionally distant. a child notices when their parents would prefer to leave them behind. they sent him to a boarding school when he came of age, which only further limited their interactions and solidified the wedge between them.

still, some of his fondest memories are of when his parents would take him to theatres, cinemas, and museums - any place where he’d be discouraged from talking. for that, he supposes he should thank them, as that is where pierre first fell in love with art.

significant other: none. pierre has a rather extensive list of women and men with whom he’s entered into flings and affairs with ( however ill advised they may be ), however, they’ve always been superficial and short lived. due to the nature of his lifestyle, he’s never really had a substantial or genuine relationship, especially not since he began his life as an art thief.
